Today we’re marking Specification v1 stable. .po9-skin is now a fixed, dependable target you can build against.

What v1 locks in

  • A single-JSON document — no zip, no folder.
  • A required manifest for identity, version, and attribution.
  • A token-only --dream-* palette and one embedded hero image.
  • Data only: no code, no network — safe to share.

The promise

A skin valid under v1 stays valid under every later minor revision. Additive features (like the animation tokens on the roadmap) never break what you’ve already shipped. That stability is the whole point of a standard.
